About

Sarah Graves is a watercolorist currently living in Fayetteville, AR. Her work is rooted in movement, looseness, and the energetic rhythms that run through life. Before becoming a full-time artist, Sarah earned her M.S. in life sciences and spent over 15 years working in the field. In 2019, her company asked her to paint a 250 square foot mural on the outside of their building – an unexpected project that reignited her creative practice and set her on the path she follows today.

Primarily self-taught, Sarah has continued to refine her craft through workshops, including under master watercolorists of our time. In August 2026, she will travel to Calgary to study under master watercolorists Patricia Guzmán, Eudes Correia, and Michael Solovyev at the International Watercolor Festival.

Sarah's work has been exhibited nationally and collected by those who are looking to bring a sense of aliveness, breathe, and openness to their spaces.
